Prerequisite: your investor profile must be validated before you can make a deposit. If you haven't created your cash management account yet, first check out the article How do I create my account to start investing?
To make a deposit into your Okimia cash management account, go to the Cash Management module in your Okimia account.
You'll then land on the main page for managing your cash investments. To start a deposit, click the Invest button for the currency of your choice.
The deposit process then takes place in 4 steps:
Enter the amount you'd like to invest and the bank account you'll be transferring it from. This entry is purely indicative: it creates a pending amount in your cash flow overview, but does not trigger any automatic debit from your account.
Okimia generates the bank details (IBAN) for the relevant investment fund.
You add these bank details as a beneficiary in your bank's interface, then initiate the transfer yourself from your banking app or website.
You come back to Okimia and confirm:
I've made this transfer
Important: Okimia never debits your bank account automatically. The transfer is always initiated by you, from your bank. There are two reasons for this:
you stay in control of when the transfer is triggered, at all times;
banks block automatic debits above certain amounts anyway.
