If the values displayed on your dashboard differ from what you entered (in Okimia or from an Excel file), this is usually due to the rules governing how different projection methods interact on the same row:
Multiple formulas for the same category are added together.
Entering a target (an amount typed directly into a cell) overrides the formula in that cell.
If you enter two targets in the same cell, the last one overrides the previous one.
A projected committed invoice may override a formula in a cell depending on the amounts involved.
Another common cause is the level at which the forecast is edited: depending on whether you enter data at a detailed level or an aggregated level, the values may be distributed differently.
